There are only 3 weeks left of Hot Summer Nights with the best saved for last. This Friday, August 17 it's a Country Party in the Park, with Nitro Express, playing at the
Temecula's Civic Center steps, Dynamite Dave in the park and a giant western
party jump obstacle course.
Other bands playing around Old Town Friday are: When
Pigs Fly (Celtic Band with hammered dulcimers,) Waylon Hicks Project (Jazz),
Valley Winds and Edutainment at the Merc with Fallbrook Orchestra Chamber
Players. Every Friday night at Pennypickle’s Workshop/Temecula Children’s Museum,
children and their parents can enjoy science adventures from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Temecula Carriages will also offer rides for a fee during Hot Summer Nights.
Nitro Express has
influences ranging from Bakersfield to Liverpool, Nashville to London, Texas to
Chicago, Detroit to Sweet Home Alabama, and many points in between. Classic
Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, R&B, Country, Southern Rock, Surf Music, Motown,
and even Reggae are some of the components that make up their unique sound.
With four strong singers, superb
harmonies, virtuoso musicianship, and a strong beat, they are one of the most
entertaining acts on the West Coast. They play from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
