Party in the Park this Friday with Nitro Express

There are only 3 weeks left of Hot Summer Nights with the best saved for last. This Friday, August 17 it's a Country Party in the Park,  with Nitro Express,  playing at the Temecula's Civic Center steps, Dynamite Dave in the park and a giant western party jump obstacle course.
Nitro Express has influences ranging from Bakersfield to Liverpool, Nashville to London, Texas to Chicago, Detroit to Sweet Home Alabama, and many points in between. Classic Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, R&B, Country, Southern Rock, Surf Music, Motown, and even Reggae are some of the components that make up their unique sound. With four  strong singers, superb harmonies, virtuoso musicianship, and a strong beat, they are one of the most entertaining acts on the West Coast. They play from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Other bands playing around Old Town Friday are: When Pigs Fly (Celtic Band with hammered dulcimers,) Waylon Hicks Project (Jazz), Valley Winds and Edutainment at the Merc with Fallbrook Orchestra Chamber Players. Every Friday night at Pennypickle’s Workshop/Temecula Children’s Museum, children and their parents can enjoy science adventures from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. For information visit www.pennypickles.org. Temecula Carriages will also offer rides for a fee during Hot Summer Nights.
