Outdoor Quilt Show this Saturday in Temecula, next weekend Rod Run

See Old Town Temecula turned into a Patchwork Quilt Saturday, October 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Quilters and fans of the Americana craft can preview the 12th Annual Temecula Outdoor Quilt Show this weekend in Old Town Temecula. A Quilt Walk featuring quilts in 21 Old Town Temecula stores begins September 17 and continues through October 2. Quilts have been chosen to uniquely complement each participating store. Small quilts will be on sale near the Old Town Temecula Community Theater courtyard on Saturday. There will also be a Guild Boutique in the Theater’s Dance Room. A large quilt live auction will take place at 1:00 p.m. The auction proceeds will benefit local charities. WinterFest starts November 26th with Santa's arrival and the opening of the Town Square Ice Rink. This year's Ice Rink is larger, 50x70' and will be upon through January 1, 2011.

Mark your calendars for a FREE NEW YEAR'S EVE celebration and the great Temecula Grape Drop and New Year's Even Countdown. We'll have two countdowns, 9 p.m. and midnight and three bands:  Valley Winds and  Silver Beatles til 9, Aunt Kizzy'z Boyz will ring in the New Year.
